I was slow on starting to use these clips because I was used to pins. Now that I have clips, I find all kinds of uses for them. They are great for sewing projects such as microwave bowls, and zipper bags and most quilt blocks. The only problem I have is if I drop one on the floor and don't realize it, the vacuum will eat it so I have to buy more.
