Four collections, two cuts of each, three packs of every combination. Twenty four packs, nine hundred and sixty precut pieces. This is the whole precut range in a single order, and it exists for the quilter who has decided to stop buying one pack at a time.
Why both cuts matter
Cut a 5" charm square down the middle and you get two pieces measuring 2.5" x 5". Cut a 2.5" x 10" mini strip in half and you get exactly the same thing. The two formats sit on one grid, which means you can move between them mid-project without doing any arithmetic: squares where you want blocks, strips where you want rows, and the same 2.5" unit underneath both when you want to mix them.
Having both cuts of the same four collections is what makes this bundle different from buying twice as much of one thing. The prints match across the formats, so a strip row and a square block can sit in the same quilt without a fight.
What is in each collection
Morning Mist is botanical and tonal, sage and teal and soft aqua on white grounds, with leaves, ferns, cactus prints and small daisies. It is the calm one.
Blossom Breeze is a summer garden, pink and coral against aqua and turquoise, with navy and true red underneath to give it depth. Ginghams and checks sit between the florals.
Patchwork Carnival is the bright one, a full rainbow of dots, ginghams, stripes, stars and small scattered flowers. It is the pack children reach for.
Crimson Garden is Japanese in feel, crimson and navy and black with metallic gold, cherry blossom, cranes, fans and traditional geometrics. It is the one that gives the whole bundle its dark end.
Range, which is what scrappy quilts actually need
Every scrappy quilt needs lights that breathe, mediums that carry, and darks that anchor. A single collection rarely gives you all three, which is why so many scrappy tops end up looking flat. Here the Morning Mist and the Patchwork Carnival supply the lights and the brights, the Blossom Breeze carries the middle, and the Crimson Garden brings the dark end that most precut bundles skip entirely.
Three packs of each also means repetition. You get enough of any one print to bring it back across a quilt top rather than using it once and running out, which is the difference between a scrappy quilt that reads as designed and one that reads as leftovers.
One note before you plan around them. These are our own printed cottons, lightweight and on the thinner side. They are made for practice pieces, scrappy makes and everyday projects rather than heirloom quilts. The strips are short 10" cuts, not full width-of-fabric jelly roll strips.
