There is something deeply joyful about a quilt that invites you to play. This kaleidoscope quilt is exactly that, a striking modern wall hanging built from striped triangles that come together into mesmerising kaleidoscope blocks. The pattern even comes with a wonderful little nudge from the designers, "you have permission to play," which is honestly the best instruction we have read in a long time.
The quilt finishes at approximately 45" x 45", making it a perfect statement piece for a wall, a sofa throw, or a dramatic table topper. It comes with three beautiful colour stories to choose from, Cool, Warm and Neutral, each with its own block arrangement, so you can lean into the palette that calls to you most.
- A true showcase for striped batik fabrics. The pattern uses striped, gradated fabrics to bring out the gorgeous shifts in colour that make each kaleidoscope block feel almost three-dimensional.
- Three colourways, three layouts. Cool, Warm and Neutral each have their own arrangement, and the designers encourage you to mix, match or invent a layout entirely your own.
- Finished size approximately 45" x 45". A beautifully sized quilt for a wall, a small lap quilt, or a one-of-a-kind centrepiece in your sewing space.

Tip: a 45° triangle ruler makes the cutting much easier and more accurate, although it is not strictly required. Before printing any diagrams, set your printer to "no scaling" or "actual size" so the measurements stay true.
Happy quilting!
