At The Fabric Hut, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you would like to request the deletion of your personal data, please follow the instructions below.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request the deletion of your personal data by contacting us through one of the following methods:
- Email: Send a request to customercare@thefabrichut.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
- Contact Form: Use our Contact Us page and select "Data Deletion" as the subject
What to Include in Your Request
To help us process your request efficiently, please include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- A brief description of what data you would like deleted
What Happens Next
- We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
- Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification
- You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
What Data Can Be Deleted
We can delete the following types of personal data:
- Account information (name, email, address)
- Order history
- Marketing preferences and subscription data
- Any data collected through third-party integrations (e.g., Facebook, Instagram)
Exceptions
Certain data may be retained as required by law, including transaction records for tax and accounting purposes. We will inform you if any of your data falls under a legal retention requirement.
Third-Party Data
If you connected to our store through a third-party platform (such as Facebook or Instagram), you may also want to manage your data directly through that platform's settings. Deleting your data from our store does not automatically delete data held by third parties.
