Most stashes are built one pack at a time, which is why so many of them fight each other on the design wall. Squares bought in March, strips bought in July, and nothing quite agreeing on a shade of green. This bundle sidesteps that. Every square and every strip here comes from the same Morning Mist prints, so anything you pull out of the box already coordinates with everything else still in it.
Why the two cuts belong together
Cut a 5" charm square down the middle and you get two pieces measuring 2.5" x 5". Cut a 2.5" x 10" mini strip in half and you get exactly the same thing. The two formats sit on one grid, which means you can move between them mid-project without doing any arithmetic: squares where you want blocks, strips where you want rows, and the same 2.5" unit underneath both when you want to mix them.
One note before you plan around them. The strips are short 10" cuts, not full width-of-fabric jelly roll strips. That shorter cut is what keeps 480 precut pieces at this price, and it suits strip patchwork, blocks, and small makes rather than full-length borders or long strip sets.
