Quilting machines give you room and control that a regular sewing machine cannot. A longer throat fits a rolled quilt, stitch regulation keeps stitch length even while your hands speed up or slow down, and a frame lets the machine travel over the quilt. Everything in this collection comes from The Grace Company, and we are adding more machines as the range grows.

Grace Little Rebel: sew and quilt in one machine

The Little Rebel pieces, sews and free-motion quilts. It has a 13 inch throat, built-in stitch regulation and a top speed of 1,600 stitches per minute. Piece your blocks with the sewing foot, then swap the plate and foot and you are quilting in under a minute, at the table or mounted on a Grace frame.

Computerized quilting with the machine you own

QuiltMotion X Foundations for Domestic Machines works with the Cutie Breeze frame to move a compatible home sewing machine for you. Pick a design, place it and sew. It handles blocks, pantographs, borders and straight lines, and comes with a 7 inch touchscreen tablet and built-in designs. Machines with a throat of 9 inches or more suit it best.

Frames sold separately

A quilting machine and a frame work as a pair. The Grace Cutie Breeze Tabletop Fabric Frame is in our quilting frames collection, sized for a sewing room instead of a dedicated studio.

Quilting machine questions

What is the difference between a sewing machine and a quilting machine?

A quilting machine has a longer throat for rolled quilts, stitch regulation to keep stitch length even while you move the fabric, and a way to mount on a frame. The Little Rebel has a 13 inch throat and built-in stitch regulation.

Is there a sit-down quilting machine with stitch regulation?

The Grace Little Rebel uses an optical encoder to regulate stitch length. Quilt with it at the table on the included extension base, or mount it on a Grace frame and stand up to quilt.

Can I do free motion quilting on a home machine?

Yes. A frame such as the Cutie Breeze moves your machine over the quilt for free motion quilting, and QuiltMotion X adds computerized designs to a compatible home sewing machine on that frame.
