Quilting rulers are what keep a quarter inch seam a quarter inch from the first cut to the last block. Every ruler here is clear acrylic with markings you can read against light and dark fabric, sized for the cuts quilters make most. Pair one with a sharp blade from our rotary cutters collection and your pieces come out the same size.

Square rulers for squaring up blocks

Square rulers trim blocks and units to size. The 6 and 6.5 inch squares handle half square triangles and small units, the 9.5 inch covers most finished blocks, and the 12.5 inch slotted ruler squares up blocks to 12 inches.

Rectangle rulers for strips and trimming

The TrueCut 6.5 x 12.5 inch rectangle is the size many quilters keep beside the cutting mat for strips and squaring up. The 3 x 8 inch reaches into small units and trims seam allowances without covering the whole block.

Slotted rulers and seam guides

Slotted rulers let you cut several strips without moving the ruler. The 10 x 8 inch slotted ruler cuts 2.5 inch strips without measuring twice. The seam guide ruler has needle holes for seam allowances from 1/8 to 2 inches, and comes in a bundle with a magnetic seam guide.

Keep them in reach

A beechwood ruler stand keeps rulers upright and visible on the cutting table, with spool holders for thread. Find more cutting tools in sewing supplies.
