Just Kisses Free Quilt Pattern

Just Kisses Free Quilt Pattern

There is something so playful about a quilt with a sweet name, and Just Kisses fits that perfectly. The design is a soft, modern arrangement of little "X" shapes scattered across a calm, neutral background, the kind of layout that feels both fresh and gentle, and looks just as good on a sofa as it does folded at the foot of a bed.

The pattern finishes at 47" x 59", a really lovely lap or throw size, and leans on a calm palette of solids. Most of the quilt is one quiet background colour with small pops of soft, earthy accents, so a tidy stash of solids is really all you need to bring it to life.

  • A modern, restful design. The scattered "kisses" across a calm background give the quilt plenty of personality without feeling busy, a beautiful balance for a relaxed throw.
  • Mostly background, a few accents. The bulk of the fabric is one calm solid, and the little Xs only need small amounts of each accent colour, so it is a wonderful project for using up pieces from your stash.
  • A friendly project for a confident beginner. The piecing is straightforward and the layout is forgiving, which makes it a really sweet make for anyone ready to step beyond the basics.

Finished quilt size: 47" x 59"

Tip: before you print the pattern, set your printer to "no scaling" or "actual size" so the measurements come out true. Pressing each seam as you go also makes a real difference, especially when little X shapes need to line up neatly across the quilt top.
