Sewing Scissors

Why titanium coated scissors

The coating is harder than the steel underneath, so the cutting edge holds its shape through far more fabric. Less dragging, less chewing at the edge of a cut, and a pair you sharpen a lot less often.

Shears and trimming scissors

• Heavy duty razor edge quilting scissors in 6, 8 and 9.5 inch, for cutting through several layers at once
• Trimming scissors in 5 and 6 inch, the pair most quilters reach for all day

Embroidery scissors and thread snips

• 4 inch fine point scissors, needle sharp, for close work and picking out stitches
• 4 inch fine point with extra large rings, if the small handles hurt your hands
• 4 inch curved fine point, to get flat against the fabric

Applique, duckbill and batting scissors

• 6 inch duckbill applique scissors, double curved handles, so the wide blade lifts the top layer and trims it without nicking what is underneath
