Open Toe Walking Foot with Guide Bar - Even Feed for Low Shank Machines

Your machine's feed dogs only pull the bottom layer. On a quilt sandwich, a pair of vinyl panels or a striped shirt front, that means the top layer creeps forward and the seam finishes out of line. A walking foot adds a second set of feed dogs on top, so both layers move together at exactly the same rate.

The open toe design leaves the needle area completely clear, which matters when you are stitching in the ditch or following a marked quilting line and need to see precisely where the needle lands. Slide the guide bar into the socket at the back and it will track a previous row of stitching for evenly spaced quilting lines across a whole top.
