Finesse Classic Variegated Quilting Thread, 50wt Polyester - Lemon Zest - 1100 Yards

Finesse Classic Variegated in Lemon Zest is a 50wt, 3-ply polyester quilting thread from Grace that shifts through sunny yellows and soft orange as it stitches. Each mini-cone holds 1,100 yards.

Color that changes for you

Switching thread every few rows to follow your fabric takes time. A variegated thread changes color on its own, so feathers, swirls and edge-to-edge designs pick up movement without a single thread change. It has the same matte, cotton-like finish and low lint as the Finesse solids.

Good to know

The color changes run along the thread at their own interval, not to your pattern. In short seams or small blocks you may only see one shade at a time. The effect shows best across larger quilted areas, so this is a quilting thread first and a piecing thread second.

Features & Benefits

• 50wt, 3-ply polyester so that seams stay flat when you piece and stitches hold up when you quilt.
• Low lint so that your bobbin area and tension disks stay cleaner between projects.
• Matte, cotton-like finish so that the thread sits into cotton fabric instead of shining on top of it.
• Strong at high speed so that you can run a longarm or sit-down machine without constant breaks.
• 1,100 yards on a mini-cone so that you have plenty for a project without storing a full-size cone.

Great For

• Free-motion feathers, swirls and loops
• Edge-to-edge longarm designs
• Quilting over scrappy or multicolor tops
• Decorative stitching
