Pure Color Runner Free Quilt Pattern

Pure Color Runner Free Quilt Pattern

Sometimes the prettiest projects are the smallest ones, and Pure Color Runner is one of those happy little quilts that gives you a quick win and a big splash of colour. It is a sweet 15" x 28" table runner built around a joyful palette of solid cottons, the kind of piece that turns a kitchen table or a hallway sideboard into a little celebration.

The design works with nine different solid colours, so it is a wonderful chance to play with shades you already love or to finally use up those treasured scraps from past projects. Because it is so compact, it stitches up beautifully in a weekend, which makes it perfect for a thoughtful handmade gift.

  • A small project with a big personality. At 15" x 28" the runner finishes quickly, but the bold mix of colours makes it feel like a proper statement piece on any table.
  • A playful palette of solids. Nine different solid cottons sing together across the runner, so you get all the joy of colour play without having to match prints.
  • Beginner friendly and gift ready. The compact size and straightforward piecing make it a gentle, encouraging project, and it wraps up into a lovely handmade gift for a friend or family member.

Finished runner size: 15" x 28"

Tip: before you print the pattern, set your printer to "no scaling" or "actual size" so the measurements come out true. With so many small solid pieces meeting up, pressing your seams carefully as you go will give you those crisp, satisfying points.

If you would love to gather a bright bouquet for your runner, have a peek at our solid cottons collection, full of cheerful shades that are ready to come together into a little burst of colour for your table. We would love to see how yours turns out!

Happy quilting!
